European Commodities offers energy suppliers and large industrial companies access to the European energy market.
In 2018, Elexys and its sister companies moved to the brand-new offices of the Blue Oak business center in Deerlijk. The modern 2,200 m² main building was constructed on the site of the former Ravel Textiles factory. To optimize our energy consumption, 300 kW of solar panels have been installed on the adjacent sheds and carport. This allows us to generate at least as much renewable energy as we consume in conventional energy. In addition, an energy-saving combined heat and power system using gas simultaneously produces electricity and heat. During the summer, cooling is provided passively by the power generated by the solar panels.
